Did Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly Break Up?

Just one day after Megan Fox shared a cryptic Instagram post that sparked rumors of a split from Machine Gun Kelly, the actor fueled speculation by deleting her profile. The move also comes after Fox made some significant changes to her page.

Early on Feb. 12, after attending Drake’s Super Bowl party in Scottsdale, AZ, with Kelly the night before, the “Jennifer’s Body” star deleted most of the photos featuring her fiancé from her grid, including a recent post celebrating the rapper’s Grammy nomination for best rock album. Fox also unfollowed him and, as of that day, she was only following three people: Eminem, whom Kelly has feuded with in the past, Timothée Chalamet, and Harry Styles.

Additionally, in a since-deleted Instagram post, Fox shared a carousel of photos featuring her standing in front of a bathroom mirror with a poster behind her that reads, “when you can’t walk away,” and posing with a mystery man in a gray sweatshirt. The final slide featured a letter burning in what appeared to be a fire pit. She captioned it with lyrics from Beyoncé’s 2016 song “Pray You Catch Me,” which was about JAY-Z’s infidelity. “You can taste the dishonesty / it’s all over your breath,” she wrote. POPSUGAR reached out to reps for Fox and Kelly for comment on the actor’s post but did not receive an immediate response.

Fans were quick to speculate that Fox and Kelly had split in the comments. One commenter wrote, “He probably got with Sophie,” seemingly in reference to guitar player Sophie Lloyd, who plays with Kelly’s band. The “Till Death” star then replied, “Maybe I got with Sophie.”

Fox and Kelly first met in 2020 on the set of “Midnight in the Switchgrass” and began dating almost immediately. In January 2022 the couple announced their engagement. “In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic,” Fox captioned a since-deleted Instagram post celebrating their engagement. “Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.”
