Liam Gallagher and his brother Noel Gallagher are reportedly “taking steps to rebuild their relationship” after the latter sparked rumours of an Oasis reunion with recent comments.
The former bandmates have reportedly made plans to attend a Manchester City game together or go for a walk around their North London homes – one week after Noel, 55, said Liam, 50, could “give [him] a ring” and put their long-running feud to rest so they could reunite the band.
“Noel and Liam are in contact behind closed doors. They are tentatively taking steps to meet up and rebuild their relationship,” a source told The Sun.

The insider claimed “the wheels are in motion” for the brothers to reunite on-stage and put their 14-year-long feud – which included a dramatic backstage fight in Paris after their final concert in 2009 – behind them.
“There’s a lot of lost time to make up for and both have missed out on ups and downs in each other’s lives,” the source added.
”They need to patch up their brotherly bond before they even think about getting back in the studio for an Oasis reunion, but the wheels are in motion.”

Last week, Liam himself insisted on Twitter that an Oasis reunion was “happening”, and, following his brother’s remarks, Noel said on French radio station France Inter: ”[Liam has] got my number. He’s got my manager’s number. Call us.”
“There’s something in the papers back in England today, you know… but he should get his people to call my people,” Noel said, referring to Liam’s tweet.
”They know who they are. They know where we are’. Stop talking on the f–king internet and let’s see what you’ve got to say.”
Noel, however, did say at the time that although Liam has his number, he “won’t call”.

Liam then took to Twitter to Noel for his comments, saying he’s “damaging” Oasis.
”Here’s how I see it the little fella aka potato has done a lot of damage to Oasis as a band / brand he’s got a lot of making up to do not just to me but to you the fans the people that put us where we are today as you were,” Liam wrote, seemingly in reference to Noel’s interview on French radio.
Rumours of an Oasis reunion have been swirling following Noel’s split from his wife of 12 years Sara MacDonald in early 2023.
Liam famously did not get along with MacDonald, and was not invited to their wedding.
