Music mogul Master P is responding to allegations that he owes Jess Hilarious and rapper Fat Trel money.
Master P’s Alleged History With Fat Trel & Alley Boy
The 55-year-old music mogul took to Instagram on Wednesday evening to share a short video. And address his business dealings with Fat Trel and Alley Boy. The two were artists that Master P formed the “supergroup” Louie V Mob with, as reported by HipHopDX.
However, the group came apart at the scenes after Fat Trel claimed that Master P asked him to move to Los Angeles to star in a Menace II Society sequel. But the movie never came about, as reported by HipHopDX.
Alley Boy was really cool with the situation and I felt like we was recording too much music because I’m like, we here for the movie, bruh. I been living here for about seven months, I haven’t started a acting class, we no longer spoke about the scripts, the movie never ever came up. You know we doing video shoots and photo shoots and we got shirts pressed up that say Louie V Mob and he calling us the Louie V Mob and outside of the money that he was paying me monthly, I was receiving nothing for all of the music I’m putting out!
In an interview with No Jumper, Fat Trel explained that he was surprised to learn Louie V Mob’s album was for sale on iTunes.
The last straw was that [my boy] Black and them showed me that one of those [Louie V Mob] albums was on iTunes… I was looking for a deal or a large lump sum of money where I could take care of my family and be put into a situation where I could work and show how great of a artist I can be. And I felt like that situation wasn’t providing me with that. And then when I left…
Fat Trel explained that he never spoke about the situation with Master P because he lost respect for the mogul. However, Master P shared his perspective on the situation, as reported by HipHopDX.
I went above and beyond for Fat Trel. I took him out a negative environment, got him a safe place to stay in Los Angeles, transportation, put money in his pocket… got him exposure, put him on music with me and all without a contract just because I believed in the little homie.
Master P Clears The Air Regarding Fat Trel & Jess Hilarious
On Wednesday, Master P explained his thoughts about the matter with Fat Trel and Alley Boy once again.
I’ve only given people opportunities. Ive never forced an artist to make music or go into the studio. It’s sad that it’s always us against us. But I’m going to keep educating the ones that want to learn and grow. And to everyone I’ve crossed paths with, I wish them success.
We were ahead of our time, this was 2013 LV Mob, @alleyboy_don a Real G though and I Respect him to the end. We didn’t Pop back then because we didn’t have a Hit Record, we only had Street Records that didn’t cross over. I invested in this project, lost on it and I still haven’t been able to make money from streaming. That’s one of the reasons why I got out of the music industry and into the product game. Product don’t talk back.
Additionally, Master P addressed comedian Jess Hilarious who alleged that the mogul owes her $15,000 for an unpaid comedy skit, as previously reported by The Shade Room.
I love @jesshilarious_official and I know she was just cracking jokes because she signed her contract and got paid what she was owed for I Got The Hook Up 2 but if she tryna squeeze me for another 10k she got that.
Master P concluded the post by explaining that the truth always comes to light.
One thing about the Truth it can’t be changed & It Will Always Come to Light. What they meant for harm, God will use for good. I’m going to Keep doing the right thing, that’s why bigger blessings Keep comimg.
Master P Shared An Additional Post Regarding The Matter
The 55-year-old continued to explain his perspective regarding the allegations from Fat Trel and Jess Hilarious in a separate Instagram post.
I wish @fat_gleesh_ the best. But he is owed nothing from me or my company. The only business we ever did was put out a free mixtape on Livemixtapes.com in 2013 which is available to download for free today. We also put it on iTunes, which it didn’t sale because you could get it free from Livemixtapes. I covered the entire production costs, paid for flights, an apartment and rental cars that were trashed and damaged. I’m the only one that made a financial investment in this project and took a loss. And I have receipts to prove it. Everyone that was around us at that time knows the truth. Since then, he signed with Rick Ross then went to prison, that was over ten years ago. Now y’all know the truth! Let’s see what media sites going to have integrity and do the right thing.
Master P explained that Jess Hilarious was “joking” when she said the 55-year-old owed her $15,000.
For the cowards hiding behind their computers enforcing fake news, I do have @jesshilarious_official contract from 5 years ago for I Got The Hook Up 2 and the copy of the check that was cashed and paid. She was joking about a second check that was never in her contract. That’s the narrative they ran with for clickbait and fake headlines. Thank God for receipts!
It’s sad how the media glorifies negativity and don’t even research these stories. But all we do for the kids in the community barely get a mention. Y’all go ahead and keep promoting us against us. I’m just gonna keep pushing legit product, keep doing what’s right and educating our people because all my blessings come from God anyway. LAGREATketchup.com
